FREESTYLE Snowmobiler Colten Moore took the term 'extreme sportsman' to the next level at the Winter X Games when he was flung off his vehicle ten metres above the ground.
In the middle of a jump during his semifinal run, the handle of Moore's snowmobile soared away from his grip and he began to fall.
But before the 22-year-old from Texas hit the ground, he was able to twist himself upside down so he didn't land on his head.
Miraculously escaping serious injury, Moore got up and walked away from the crash, and later went on to win the gold medal for Snowmobile Freestyle.
